Odin is a god of war and death, but also the god of poetry and wisdom. He hung for nine days, pierced by his own spear, on the world tree. Here he learned nine powerful songs, and eighteen runes. Odin can make the dead speak to question the wisest amongst them. His hall in Asgard is Valaskjalf ("shelf of the slain") where his throne Hlidskjalf is located. From this throne he observes all that happens in the nine worlds. The tidings are brought to him by his two raven Huginn and Muninn. He also resides in Valhalla, where the slain warriors are taken.

Special Skills: Odin has only one eye, which blazes like the sun. His other eye he traded for a drink from the Well of Wisdom, and gained immense knowledge.

I am woman, hear me snore.

I don't know what I can tell you about myself. I'm much better at answering questions than I am at spewing information without reason.
As you can tell from my Communities list, I like cats. I'm intelligent, well read and opinionated. I have an open mind and I like to debate with intelligent people. I like a challenge. I work hard....really hard. I take on far more responsibility at work than anyone in their right mind would. I'm a glutton for punishment. I like to work, I need to be productive.

Someday, I will relax. I will own a bookstore with real books (as opposed to fake ones) and old comfortable couches. I will sell real coffee, no lattes, cappuccinos or other confetti coffee concoctions (this does not mean to imply that I do not drink confetti coffee concoctions for I do....readily), I just think selling real coffee with just cream and sugar needs to remain a staple in society and if weren’t for gas stations and Denny’s I don’t think it would even exist anymore. (Microsoft Word just capitalized Denny’s for me; that was very nice)

I have a son and I love him dearly, I have three cats and I love them dearly. I talk about them frequently. If you don’t like that I don’t necessarily care.

I have a mother and a father that are 3000 miles away in Pennsylvania. They’re the coolest thing since sliced bread. (What exactly was cool before sliced bread? Why is sliced bread cooler than everything else that came after it?) My mother is a journalist. I respect her a lot. She’s led a very fulfilling and interesting life and she’s still leading it. (I don’t like that phrase “leading life”…where exactly are you leading it to?)
My father is perhaps the most intelligent man in the world. He’s simple and complex at the same time. He's really an amazing man; at 66 years old he works a full 50 hour week as a help desk guru. He also runs and is very active in a volunteer fire department.

I have a sister too; she’s pretty cool in her own right. She’s got 2 kids and loves them to pieces. She works with freaked out kids at a place called KidsPeace. She’s awesome.

I have a very small and very close knit circle of friends. Not LJ friends, real flesh and bones friends…they mean the world to me.

I like to write. I’ve written a few poems. I wrote for the Morning Call for awhile before I joined the Air Force. I’ve been married. I am not married anymore.

I surprised myself; I guess I can spout information without reason.
